Independent insurance agencies in Missouri, by city
This directory lists 181 independent insurance agencies in seven Missouri cities and their suburbs. Each listing was checked against the agency's own website on . An independent agency can place insurance with more than one insurance company, unlike a captive agent, who sells for one. Nothing here is ranked, and no one pays to be listed.

What each listing shows
- The agency's address, phone and website, taken from its own website.
- The lines of insurance it says it writes: personal (home, auto), commercial (business), farm, life or health.
- The insurance companies it names on its site, when it names them.
- The date we checked it, the page we checked, and a link to correct or remove it.
What this site doesn't do
- It doesn't rank or rate agencies, and it doesn't quote prices.
- It doesn't give insurance advice or recommend a company or a policy. Licensed agents do that.
- It doesn't collect your details or sell leads to agencies.
- It doesn't check licenses for you. Use the state's Find an Insurance Agent/Agency search; here's how.
How the list was built
We started from public lists of independent agencies: the agent locators that insurance companies such as Liberty Mutual, Safeco, Nationwide and Travelers publish for their independent agents, and the licensing records collected by findindependentinsurance.com. Then we opened each agency's own website and kept only those that call themselves independent or name more than one insurance company they work with. Captive agents (who sell for one company), franchise networks and national brokers aren't listed. The full method is on the about page.
Agencies can claim, correct or remove their listing by email. We make the change within a few business days.
